Nordis Direct Promotes Richard O’Rourke to Vice President, Business Development
CORAL SPRINGS, FL - March 1, 2010. Direct marketing solutions provider, Nordis Direct, announced today, the promotion of Richard O’Rourke to the position of Vice President, Business Development.
Richard O’Rourke joined Nordis Direct in February 1999 as a sales executive to build the critical document services client base. The following year, he was promoted to Director of Document Management; leading the charge to grow this division of Nordis Direct’s business. In this position, Rich has been responsible for managing the implementation of personalized, critical communications programs for new and existing clients; with a focus on new business development, strategic direction and project management. Through Rich’s efforts, the company has secured key, long-term clients within the Vacation Ownership, Medical Billing, and Financial sectors. Prior to joining Nordis Direct, Richard was employed by Postal Center International (PCI) where he managed production operations, and also held positions in data processing, customer service and sales.
In his new role as Vice President, Business Development for Nordis Direct, Rich will be responsible for overseeing the business development team; establishing key business partnerships within our core industries; and will be instrumental in the development and implementation of marketing and sales strategies.

John Ternent Joins Nordis Direct as Chief Technology Officer
CORAL SPRINGS, FL - January 5, 2010. Direct marketing solutions provider, Nordis Direct, announced today, the appointment of John Ternent to the position of Chief Technology Officer.
Mr. Ternent comes to Nordis Direct with nearly 20 years of experience in the Information Systems field, bringing with him an extensive skill set in a variety of technologies, methodologies and industries. During his career, Mr. Ternent has served as an architect and manager for Arthur Andersen, The Home Depot, Orange Lake Country Club, and Island One Resorts. Most recently, Mr. Ternent held the position of Vice President of Engineering for Pentaho, an open source business intelligence software provider. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Western Kentucky University and an MBA from the University of Illinois.
In his new role as Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Ternent will be responsible for the technology strategy at Nordis Direct, as well as resource and infrastructure planning and management.

This high-end digital press provides Nordis with the ability to print true 1200 x 1200 dpi color and black-and-white output at a consistent speed of 70 pages per minute, regardless of paper weight or type of stock (gloss, matte, specialty stock). Print quality rivals that of offset printing with sharp text, smooth gradations and vivid, detailed images. The imagePress C7000VP facilitates faster, high-quality, more efficient variable data, 4-color digital printing jobs, in effect, reducing the overall cost to the client.
